In 2015 I was tasked with the job of designing The Salvation Army’s annual report. Due to the sensitive nature of the Royal Commission at the time, the brief was strict not to include any photos on the cover.
To combat this design challenge whilst still creating something that would stand out, I included a repeated UV spot of The Salvation Army’s crest on the cover.
The inside of the report was also a big change for The Salvation Army at the time. Rather than being a text heavy document I was able to design the annual report to include plenty of white space, large positive quotes and what images were used were large and told positive stories.
